Welcome to Rupaul's Drag Race!
Drag is an art. Be it good or bad, sloppy or skillful, we love a man in a wig. That's why LOGO and renowned drag performer Rupaul have decided to team up to host a drag competition where we'll eventually be crowning the #1 Queen in the country! But it all starts with this site...welcome to RupaulsDragRace.com!
This site exists as a forum for America's best female impersonators. Sign up as a hopeful, upload videos and photos of you in and/or out of makeup and blog about....well...everything! Be honest, be outrageous, but most importantly be yourself because it's the voters will decide who deserves the spotlight!
Overview
Contestants in “RuPaul’s Drag Race” online casting audition will be required to upload a mixture of videos, photos and short essays about themselves to convince the public to vote them onto the show – only one contestant from the site will be awarded a spot. The online audition will be divided into three rounds:

Round 2 – The Crowd Pleaser (June 28 – July 11)
Round 3 – The Grand Finale (July 12 – July 18)
Round Details
Round 1 – The Big Opening
May 14 – June 27
Open call, all submissions accepted until the end of the day on June 27.
NOTE: Since only a fraction of users actually got around to fulfilling our round requirements for round 1, we've talked to the producers and have decided to be a little more lenient only to give the best chance to the most amount of hopefuls as possible. Obviously, we can't let everyone through, but if you're in the top 75% of vote getters, have at least 1 video, 1 photo, and are a citizen of the U.S. at least 18 years of age, you'll make it through to Round 2. So don't say we never did anything for ya! We might not be so forgiving in the future, so pay attention to these round requirements we've so lovingly crafted!
