Lets see, the very first time I did drag was October 31, 2002 first year out of high school, and yes, its true ,it started off as” just a Halloween costume and a 1 time thing" yeah well look how well that turned out. But I couldn’t help it , I mean what happened that night. the attention, the compliments, was great , I mean I’m a Leo , I love attention, and I mean I had people talking good about me and bad about me but "honey, they were still talking about me.” sadly I can admit when I first started doing drag I was a wreck, I’m serious it was quite sad, but I mean as I watched my piers and picked up tips here and there and well now I am far from being a mess. There is one person and one movie responsible for me perusing my hobby of drag. The person is also a drag queen and a very good one, she goes by vanity halston and she hosts her own show at club vip in downtown riverside, the very first time I went out to a gay bar it was her who I saw performing Madonna’s "vogue" it was absolutely divine, she had the routine down to the fan flip,
she had the huge Victorian dress and her show was JUST as huge and Victorian. And the movie, well all I have to say is "too Wong foo. thanks for everything" and it inspired me because I can still to this day relate to it on so many different levels, I am a young homosexual who everyday deals with discrimination both out in public and at one point in my own home with my own family with the exception of my sister cloressa.i dealt with negative remarks and just people being rude. and for a long time I delta with being treated different at home from the rest of the "boys" I think it was hardest on my mother not only that her youngest boy was gay , but also liked to dress as a woman. it got to the point at home where I was pretty much pressured to change my ways or move elsewhere. I was back and forth from home all the time , every chance I had to get outta that place. And I began to live a life by myself and for myself. for the record my family since my coming out to them in 2002 have become so much more accepting not so much of my lifestyle but me as a person.
I love to entertain when I do have time I try to perform as much as I can, I am set to perform at la pride 2008 and club 11 on memorial day evening for the gay prom. I’ve also competed and won drag idol hosted every Sunday at oasis nightclub in upland ca.and performed many times before that on theme nights like Dianna Ross night, Olivia Newton john night, disco night, 90s night, and many others just to have fun with. I mean when I don’t have to worry about working the next day or I get booked for party or event I try to get on the stage as much as possible, because......exposure is a girls best friend.

It's cool that you laid out the whole family issue, talking about it makes you stronger. I saw you really working for votes, I hope to see you on the show.
