Video Update

So my video is still not up as people can see and nobody from the site has gotten back to my email asking about what the problem is. I have uploaded it again in a small file format hoping maybe that will help (although they never have said it had to be a specific file size that I saw). In the mean time I have uploaded my first confession video onto youtube. My second video with me out in drag will be edited and up in the next few days as well.

The Whole Truth!

Hey everyone!

There has been a lot of talk on here about fake voting, cheating, clearing cookies, etc. I just wanted to take a moment to share my point of view on the subject and be as open and honest about it as possible.

Is fake voting going on with this site? Obviously! I am not hating on anyone here and I am not going to name any names, but it is happening. It is most obviously apparent on profiles with considerably more votes than views (I know that people are claiming that they are getting votes from the main page but it just doesn't work like that. If you are legitimately getting that number of votes there would be more people looking at your profile.)

Have I received any fake votes? Yes. I have been on this site since the first day and have been promoting my ass off since then. But about a week into the competition there was a sudden spike in my vote count that propelled me to number 1. I was confused because I had a fairly good idea how many people were voting for me every day and started asking around to figure out what was going on. I found out that a handful of people had figured out how to cheat the system by voting more than once a day. I was very thankful for everyone trying to help me win this competition, but at the same time I did not want to win by cheating. So I have asked people to please stop cheating on my behalf.

I am estimating that roughly 2500-3000 of my votes are fake. I emailed the site early on asking them if they could do something about the situation, but it appears they will not be changing anything on the site. An interesting piece of information I'm not sure people know is that there was another show (Paris Hilton's Best Friend) done with this same voting format and the #1 person did not get on the show. So the producers are able to see the difference between legit and illegitimate votes and will be making their selection based on those numbers not the numbers we see on the site.

If there is anyone else that has been casting fake votes on my behalf that I am not aware of, please stop! And please let me know of any fake votes you have cast so that I can guage where I really stand in the competition.

Finally in closing I just want to urge all the girls on here to play fair! I have a lot of respect for many of the queens on this site, but I am starting to lose some as I see bulletins posted on myspace explaining how to cheat and asking people to do it for them.

More About Me!

Hi everyone!

First off I'd like to thank you all for your overwhelming support. I am humbled by your outpouring of votes. Thank you so much for your continued support!

Now for a little bit more about me...

I grew up in a small backwoods town in Oregon. My father was a preacher and my mother was a homemaker schooling the children, darning the socks and tending the livestock. Seriously...I'm not kidding!

So this slip of a girly boy ran off to the "Big City" of Portland, OR at the first possible moment. Artemis was born in the Portland club scene. But she quickly realized that she could not be contained in a city of that size and off she went to the Big Apple.

During her tenure in New York Artemis fine tuned her onstage persona and performed just about everywhere there was a stage including such notable locations as Barracuda, Splash, Stonewall, The Slide, Posh, O.W. Bar, 6's & 8's, The Cock, View Bar, Boysroom and a majority of the bedrooms on the lower east side. She was a Starsearch winner and Drag Wars semifinalist, appeared on the off broadway show The Ultimate Drag Off and hosted the notorious downtown club kid party "Stache"!

After three years of chaotic New York Nightlife it was time for Artemis to settle down a little bit and she found the perfect place to park her heels: San Francisco! She quickly took the town by storm performing at every major show in the city including Trannyshack, Monster Show and Charlie Horse. Soon she was hosting numerous shows and parties including Addiction, Salvage, Launch, Lucky Pierre, Heat, and Reacharound.

Artemis is renowned for reinterpreting standard drag entertainment by creating various rolls at her parties such as drag queen hosted strip poker and spin the bottle, drag queen wrestling and drag jeopardy.

Not just a party girl, Artemis has an altruistic side. She has tirelessly campaigned for many charitable organizations including, The AIDS Housing Alliance, Project Open Hand, Larkin Street Youth Project, Stop AIDS Project and The Breast Cancer Emergency Fund.

She is the current reigning Miss Desperate Diva August 2009 and Miss Golden Gate 2008 for the Imperial Court of San Francisco.

If I should be honored with an opportunity to participate in this trailblazing series I will do everything in my drag powers to make it the most entertaining and captivating reality television you have ever seen!
