I dont know I looked this morning and I seen that I am still recieving votes..I did all the requirements except for the performance video but that was only because I couldnt get the camera back and knew noone else who had one..Oh well we will see how long it lasts maybe they are gonna cut people in like a couple of hours or something..who knows..but for now Im here.\

My Ideal Performance

So I'm thinking about what my ideal performance would be and my head goes a little crazy..cause there would be so many..First of all I am a HUGE Janet Jackson and Wynonna Judd Fan(polor opposites I know right)..but I digress....I suppose it would have to be in a packed arena as I am on a world tour as Rupauls drag race winner the lights go down and the curtains come up and the music to All Nite(Don't Stop) by Janet comes on and since winning you know the costume would be fierce and the hair would be locked but aint none of those bit**es touching my make-up I do my own and I know what looks good on me..back to the story..right in the middle of the number the lights go down like a power-outage and they say "Sorry Miss Micheals,We are having difficulties" then you would here the music say "This is a story about Control, My Control,Control of what I say,Control of what I do and This time I'm gonna do it my way, I hope you enjoy this as much as I do, Are we ready? I am! Cause it's all about Control and I've got lots of it." and down from the ceiling comes my girl Miss Jackson and the music The Pleasure Principle" would begin to play as the lights come back up after a costume change by me and me and my girl Janet would give them pure Fever..the queens would be in a frenzy..and who I love to have in the audience first of all would be my family and my husband as they are the most important to me and on the celebrity-side I would love to have my Drag Race sisters there with me as well as Cher,Whitney,Tina..you know Dream Big...I would close the show with my girl Wynonna(nobody can touch the voice in my opinion) come out and we would perform At Last by Etta James..omg she nails the hell out of this song live..and as the crowd lives for what they have just seen they all remember..Damn I should have voted more for her to begin with....
Dreams do come true...Maybe not for me and maybe not for you..But for one of us this Dream Will become a reality(TV Show)..lol

Frustarted Party of 1

Your table is now available.....Lets do some math What do you say....Two days now I have voted for every gal on here..That would be over 200 votes I placed..Now let's see how many I have earned in 2 days..Hmmmmmm....around 17(thats the magic #) hmmm...something dont seem right...well peeps the time has come to break it down..

OMG!!!

Since only a fraction of users actually got around to fulfilling our round requirements for round 1, we've talked to the producers and have decided to be a little more lenient only to give the best chance to the most amount of hopefuls as possible. Obviously, we can't let everyone through, but if you're in the top 75% of vote getters, have at least 1 video, 1 photo, and are a citizen of the U.S. at least 18 years of age, you'll make it through to Round 2. So don't say we never did anything for ya! We might not be so forgiving in the future, so pay attention to these round requirements we've so lovingly crafted!

So in other words let's reward those who are in the Top but can't take the time to even log on and meet the requirements..while others(like myself) take time everyday to vote and return love that is bestowed upon me..This is a little upsetting to me but hardly no surprise..it reminds me why I don't do pageants because it is always the same thing..Girls show up on time money in hand and prepared to do a pageant and then all the sudden ..Aww we are gonna let these girls in(they were on the way)(wink,wink)..Will drag ever change????Probably not this is the flip-side to entertainment that I was just waiting to rear it's ugly head..there is prolly some pageant promoter out there going "I would do that too"..I mean come on you got girls that have been on here for 1 week that met there requirements why can't girls that have been on here months do the same...Take note young Drag Queens out there..All I to say is "Get used to it it's been this way for years and by the looks of it it aint gonna change anytime soon".

Seems like alot!!!

I need 97 more votes to crack the Top 75..I worked hard to get to the Top 100..and I will work harder to get to the illusive Top 75..With your help..if you are reading this drop me a line and Vote for me and together we can both accomplish what we are trying to reach for..and watch me scadaddle(so country..lol) on over to your site and vote for you..I vote everyday after 6...

So heres the Big One

So you need to know a little bit about Jami and where she came from...Jami Micheals first showed up in Drag as a booger queen in Winston-Salem 17 years ago as Anita Dambeer(lol) I would go do booger pageants in a full beard make-up and some terrible goodwill clothes dancing to dancing queen..The crowd seem to really dig what I was doing well right along that time drag was near its highest peak and the interest was amazing and I would sit and watch the "pretty girls" entertain while I got ready for the next catergory and while I was watching them I realized I wanted to be a pretty girl and no more booger drag..so my boyfriend at the time was friends with all the major drag queens including Elgin Kenna the famous Cher impersonator so he thought he could do make-up by association alone "(WRONG)"..lol...anyway so after being tragic a couple of times..I met up with my Drag Mother Miss Sharde Ross(hey momma) and she painted me and I was looking much better but I will never forget the advice she gave me she said "Jami you have got to learn to paint yourself,make your own clothes,and do your own hair because there may be sometimes when people are not going to be available to do it for you" It was this piece of advice that created a self-reliant female impersonator named Jami Micheals..Since then I have performed in several states up and down the East Coast to included but not limited too..Florida,Sc,Nc,Tenn,Kentucky,Maryland,Virginia and many others..I never liked doing pageants because I always felt that You dont need a title to make yourself a great entertainer after all thats what it is all about..I did all the major systems including Usa,America and I finally captured my state Title as Miss Nc Eoy 2003 I had always said that after I capture a state title that would be it for me and I havent done a contest since(except for that boy one I did as Eminem)(that was fun but not for me)..I love to entertain and I have made lots of friends over the years..and to those people that had the nerve to look me in the face and say "You'll never make it as a queen" I say "Are you still working? I am!" Thanks for taking time to read this and getting to know Jami a bit better.Thanks in advance for voting for me as well. So until next time.....

LOL this is so much fun I log on everyday and show my support for my favorites and I pick-up a few new ones.To those that at voting for me Thank You it means alot to make an old gal(in drag that is..lol)feel viable once again.I never forget my friends and I'll never forget this experience.I feel sorta like my favorite politician Hillary Clinton say "Vote for me cause its not over until every vote is counted".Thanks for your support thus far and we got 25 days left lets blow the vote out.

My Intro

Hey there drag fans..Its me Jami Micheals here to introduce myself to the world...So here I am..I am 36yrs old (boo)(lol)..I Live in North Carolina with my boyfriend of 3 years(very happily) I am the show director at Club Cabaret and have been a house cast member for more than 10 yrs..I started entertaining 15 yrs ago...I'm not much of a pageant queen as much as I am an entertainer that enjoys the spotlight and the adoration of the crowd..I want to say a BIG Thank You to those that have voted for me.
