Everyone is doing it!

So, the race is winding down to hopefully a surprise end. Who do I want to see in the show? Do you really have to ask?
Did you ride the short bus???

I really don't care if they get on the show or not, but I would pay good money to see Raya and Pandora perform together. It would be like a drag trainwreck that is stangely funny.

Who am I kidding? Guestlist!!! I'll be backstage smoking and on the phone with Putanesca saying "Where are you? Raya is putting that horrid red wig on again!" Hahahahaha!!

With that, I want to give a shout out to all the drag hags. I hope everyone has had as much fun as I have! Don't forget to send me your addy so I can send you nekkie pics of Raya. Haha. I have never seen that.

xoxo

Trannyshack report

I'm writing this before I pass out from exhaustion because regardless, I'll be tired and grumpy tomorrow!

The closer it gets to the end of Trannyshack the more packed it has gotten. And there is nothing like a Bjork tribute night to bring out all the lunatics (I mean...fans). We were packed in like sardines and it was HOT! But I digress...

My favorite performance of the night was definitely Putanesca. But then again, I may be a wee bit biased! Haha! Raya's performance in Turleen's number was also flawless. Way to carry that giant inflatable Shamu across the stage, Raya!

There are so many amazing queens in San Francisco and Trannyshack will be missed. But as Raya put it (between fake snores in the car on the way home), in just 6 weeks we will get our Wednesday's back!!! Hmmmmm....that sounds good to me!

Raya Co-hosted Charlie Horse

It was a fun show. I typically hate the crowd at the Cinch but Friday night was great because it was pretty empty! As much as we love Raya, apparently, she still can't compete with fireworks and Peaches Christ who was across town doing the opening night of 12th year of Midnight Mass.

I was expecting something much more offensive, but it doesn't matter. Raya always brings entertainment and in this case, hot guys wearing nothing but jock straps. Hehe! And somehow, I always come home with with part of Raya's performance ON me!

Can't help but love that crazy bitch!

No Trannyshack report today!

I was lame and stayed at home last night. And somehow I still managed to be flying out the door this morning almost late for work! I am sure to take in a few more shows @ Trannyshack before it sadly comes to a close.

I am planning to attend Charlie Horse @ the Cinch on Friday. I am anxious to see Raya and Anna Conda do something on stage that would probably get them arrested in the town I grew up in. You see, I grew up in San Angelo, TX which is about an hour and a half drive from Midland. Translation: Bush Oil Country!

I'll bring the camera...I promise!

Get it gurls!

Bootie!!!!

The Monster Show at Bootie SF was OFF THE HOOK last night! Kudos to all of the performers! My friends and I were upstairs looking down onto the stage which provided an interesting view. Let me just say, there were a couple of girls standing in front of the stage who really wanted a piece of Sexy Uncle Sam (Raya Light!). Way to work, Raya!

OK...I'm off to play with all the freaks who showed up for SF Pride. I missed the parade...I know. I'm lame.

Charlie Horse

Raya did Crackwhore Dorothy on stage. I think that speaks for itself. Well there was that one drunk guy that kept trying to molest her from the audience. It would have been funny except that it was the same guy I had to smack earlier in the evening for grabbing my boob. Grrrrr...

On another note...I would have thought that they would start the vote numbers over in round 2. How can anyone possibly catch up to 47,000 votes? Just saying.

OK....off to my donut coma now. (Thanks Raya!)

Trannyshack report

I go to a lot of drag shows in San Francisco...a lot. So I thought, "hey, why not blog about seeing these fierce contestants on stage?"

Tuesday night @ Trannyshack was actually not one of my favorite nights. I was going to stay home, but I saw that Putanesca was on the line-up. Puta is amazing and I hadn't seen her in or out of drag for over a month.

The show was a tribute to David Bowie, but it was also Heklina's birthday. Dear God. It was packed with too many people wearing "Heklina" t-shirts, sloshing their drinks around and squealing "there she is, there she is!" My friends and I actually got a good laugh out of that. Those people need to get out more. Seriously.

Anyway...Putanesca was amazing! I think I only blinked 3 or 4 times during her entire performance. I am always fascinated by Puta's creations.

VLfromtheTL was also in the show as a sexy vixen pussy cat. It's nice to see VL back at Trannyshack. Will she ever be invited back to the Monster Show? Haha!

Miss Raya Light IS Wonder Woman, but she showed off her cape at Trannyshack. I love me some Raya. But there was no blood, no worms, no skittles being spit at the crowd and no nudity.

I yawned and went home. I was just tired. Raya is amazing. :)

A good thing!

One of the best things that ever happened in my life was getting involved in the San Francisco drag scene. The SF queens are wacky, beautiful and fun as hell! And, in and out of drag, they are the sweetest people who have welcomed me with open arms into their crazy lives.

Please vote for all of the San Francisco freaks...
but here are my plugs for the day.

Raya Light--check out her video and vote before it sends you to rehab.

Putanesca--amazing!!! She is not only one of my favorite performers, but she can make anyone glamorous (even Turleen). Hahahaha!

Artemis Chase--I got to spend last Thanksgiving with this lovely one. She can open a mean can of cranberry sauce! Classic beauty with flawless performances.

Landa Lakes--She is one of the most genuine people I've ever met. And she stole my purse for a pic with Wendy Ho. Love it!

Finally, I hope everyone is having fun with this. I know I am.
